| INSTRUCTION and HISTORY The steelpan is an amazing instrument that continues to capture the hearts and ears of the world's population. Its ability to entice its audience has enabled it to grow in popularity throughout the United States and beyond. With it's amazing growth and interest it is evident that there is a need for both public and private instruction. Upon request I provide both private and public instruction. The steelpan also has a surprizing past. It's history is one that must be taught and understood. To learn the history of the steelpan will encourage the knowledge and importance of Culture, Technology, and World History. Because the steelpan was invented during this most recent century, we are able to see and understand the Steelpan's beginning development to the modernized instrument of today - the steelpan.
